The Sokoloff Charity Bestball Tournament is a non-profit organization that aims to unite the fantasy football community to raise funds for charities, fostering a spirit of giving while enjoying friendly competition and making a positive impact on society. The main source of donations will come from hosting our annual fantasy football bestball tournament.
Bestball in short means, after you complete the draft, you get to sit back and the Sleeper app will do the rest. Each week your highest scoring lineup is automatically selected. With all of the proceeds going to charity, instead of competing for a monetary prize, we compete for bragging rights and the 2024 SCBT Championship Title Belt. Donations are collected and then distributed to different charities throughout the year. This year we are splitting the donations equally between Autism Speaks and a charity of the 2024 Champion’s choosing. Join us today and be a part of something truly special!
Autism refers to a broad range of conditions characterized by challenges with social skills, repetitive behaviors, speech and nonverbal communication. According to the Centers for Disease Control, autism affects an estimated 1 in 36 children and 1 in 45 adults in the United States today.
With a dedicated team, we aim to make a positive impact on society and create lasting change while having fun and meeting new people within the fantasy football community. The Sokoloff Charity Bestball Tournament is a non-profit organization operating under the rules and guidelines provided for 501(c)3 non-profit organizations. The goal is to be able to support and give back to multiple charitable organizations based on donations from the tournament, raffles and other events throughout the year. The SCBT is dedicated to harnessing the enthusiasm surrounding fantasy football to raise funds for charitable causes, fostering a spirit of giving and camaraderie within the community. Together, we can make a positive difference in the world while enjoying the thrill of fantasy football.
Each division will be based on a 10-person bestball slow draft. Each week your highest scoring lineup is automatically selected. Please note, that this tournament will operate only on the Sleeper App. Playoffs will be unique as you will be competing with not only against your current league but also against leaders of the other divisions in order to crown the 2024 SCBT Champion.
